A two day workshop on “Values in Healthcare: A Spiritual Approach [VIHASA]” was jointly organized by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik & The Janki Foundation for global healthcare Bramhakumari’s , Mount Abu [RJ] ON 28th Oct-29th Oct 2017.The workshop was inaugurated by Honourable Vice-Chancellor Prof.E. Vayunandan [YCMOU], Dr. Jaydeep Nikam, Director, School of Health Sciences, YCMOU,Chief Trainers and Facilitators of the workshop- Dr. Sachin Parab,Dr. Manoj Matnani, Dr. Jayshri Patil, Mr. Datta Rokde in the presence of Rajyogini Bk. Vasanti didiji. The participants included practicing professionals from all levels, including doctors, nurses, professions allied to medicine, social workers, managers, support and administrative staff, research scholars etc. from different parts of Maharashtra. The various activities conducted during the workshop included lecture, discussions, meditation and hands-on practice on eight different modules. The modules included concepts of values, peace, positivity, compassion, co-operation, valuing yourself and spirituality in healthcare. The entire planning and execution of the workshop was carried out by School of Health Sciences, YCMOU supported by Team of Bramhakumari’s Nasik center that included Vikasbhai Salunkhe, Laxmanbhai Salunkhe, Vedant and Punam didiji.
