KATE CEBERANO Supported by Bella Paige and Michelle Gardiner

Multi ARIA award winning artist, Kate Ceberano, has been in the business for over 35 years, with seven Platinum and seven Gold albums to her name. In 2014, she became the first, and only, Australian woman to be inducted into the Australian Songwriters’ Association Hall of Fame.

Supporting local artists will include Bella Paige, who wowed audiences around the nation in The Voice Australia and the supremely talented Michelle Gardiner with her blend of pop, blues and country.

Winner of The Voice Australia in 2018, Sam Perry is a one-man orchestra! Armed with only a loop station, effect pedal and microphone, Perry is able to create layer upon layer of haunting vocal harmonies, heavy basslines and break-beat, beat boxed rhythms. Supporting local artists will include much-loved duo SHY playing your favourite tunes and talented singer songwriter NICO.

NICKY BOMBA’S BUSTAMENTO Supported by Soul Chic and the Ashleigh Watson Duo

Enjoy the ultimate summer soundtrack with Bustamento’s upbeat rhythms covering Calypso, Mento, Early Reggae and Ska styles, all with an international flavour! Nicky Bomba is one of Australia’s most respected musicians, performing with his band Bomba, conducting the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, playing drums for John Butler Trio and now with the ARIA-nominated Bustamento. Supporting local artists will include the Ashleigh Watson Duo with their sweet soul and Motown vibes and vibrant musical group Soul Chic.

Bring a picnic blanket and settle in for the summer, with all-ages concerts every Friday night from 18 January – 24 February including major headline acts and local talent. The fun starts at 6pm – bring the kids and catch up with friends.

ASH GRUNWALD Supported by Will Campbell and Radio 88

With eight albums and a swag of ARIA award nominations, Ash Grunwald has made a name for his unique blend of roots, beats and a whole lot of groove. Come and see why he’s one of Australia’s most loved bluesmen. Supporting artists will include local four-piece Radio 88 playing your favourite tunes and Will Campbell rounding out the evening with some indie folk.

THE AUDREYS Supported by Jesse Valach and Lewis Pidutti

Folk rockers, The Audreys are back on the road! The band’s debut album Between Last Night And Us won the ARIA award for Best Blues & Roots Album with singles including ‘Oh Honey’, ‘You & Steve McQueen’, ‘Banjo & Violin’ and ‘Don’t Change’. Since then they’ve graced almost every major festival in Australia. Supporting local artists include singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lewis Pidutti and bluesman Jesse Valach who was named Melbourne’s Blues Performer of the Year in 2017.

CHOIRBOYS Supported by The Mixx and Tanya George

With their music embedded in Australian culture, with hits such as ‘Run To Paradise’, ‘Boys Will Be Boys’, ‘Struggle Town’ and ‘Never Gonna Die’, CHOIRBOYS have achieved legendary status – still performing and delighting crowds more than 30 years since they formed in the northern beaches of Sydney. Supporting artists include Tanya George who mixes indie, soul and jazz with acapella and beat boxing techniques and The Mixx featuring Werribee locals Frank Tiatto and Rob O’Neill and Sally Chatfield (Runner-Up in The X Factor).

HEY DEE HO MUSICSing, dance and make music together! Hey Dee Ho Music brings music to life for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, with puppets, musical instruments and dress ups. Sing along to well-loved nursery rhymes and kids songs and explore the concepts of beat, rhythm and tempo.

WEDNESDAY WYNNIESCalling all mini-masters! Paint a portrait of your favourite person in this hands-on workshop just for kids. We’ll be taking a picture of your masterpiece for an exhibition that will happen during the Wyndham Art Prize in April. Local artists will be on hand to help, and there will be a prize for the best one. Supported by Arts Assist.

WEATHERFriday Night Live, Outdoor Cinema and Street Food Sundays are all-weather events and will go ahead in most weather conditions. Cancellations will only be considered if the conditions present a risk to the safety of visitors and staff. Remember to bring sunscreen, hat and something to keep you warm at night, when the temperature drops.

SEATINGA limited number of deckchairs and beanbags are available for daytime use. For large events – Friday Night Live, Outdoor Cinema and Street Food Sundays we recommend bringing your own picnic blankets and rugs, so that you can get nice and comfy.

ATMSThere are ATMs located a short walk away on Watton Street and Bridge Street.

ACCESSIBILITYThe Pop Up Park has a flat surface, with entry from Station Place. From Friday through to Sunday, 18 January - 24 February, a portable accessible toilet will be located in Station Place. Outside of these dates the nearest accessible toilets are located at Werribee Train Station and on the corner of Watton and Bridge Street.

We welcome visitors with assistance animals certified by a registered authority.

TOILETSThere are public toilets located nearby in Werribee Train Station and on the corner of Watton and Bridge Street. From Friday through to Sunday additional portable toilets will also be located in Station Place.

The designated Taxi Zone in Station Place will operate as normal.

Public Transport

The Pop Up Park is located next to Werribee Train Station, making it easy to get there via train or bus.

Car

Free car parking is close by, with three hour parking in Riverbend and Cherry Street Car Park, two hour parking in Troup/Woolworths Car Park, all day parking in West End Car

Park and one hour parking on Watton Street. Note that time limits do not apply after 5.30pm.

During the six weeks of the Pop Up Park, vehicle access to Station Place will remain open with one-way traffic flow. A reduced number of parks will be available during this time. Parking in Station Place will also be temporarily changed from 1 hour to 30 minutes to assist customers with parking turnover during the period.
