World’s 1st DeFi AMM & Liquidity Pools for Security Tokens and Tokenized Stocks

Introduction
One of the more valuable innovations in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is the deployment of DeFi Liquidity Pools and Automatic Market Makers known as “AMM”. An AMM is a type of decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that relies on a mathematical formula to price assets using blockchains and smart contracts. Instead of using an order book like a traditional exchange, assets are priced according to a pricing algorithm, any investor can participate in the DeFi liquidity pool and earn fees as a benefit. This opens up a plethora of opportunities.
There are currently no liquidity pools built specifically for the security token (STO) or tokenized stocks (TSO) industry , which is a multi trillion dollar asset class under development. IX Swap is the World’s 1st DeFi project focused on a solution to bring liquidity to the secondary trading of Security Tokens (STO) and Tokenized Stocks (TSO), with the first partner exchange being InvestaX, a Singapore licensed security token investment and trading platform. This is an enormous blue ocean investment opportunity for IX Swap.
IX Swap solves the liquidity problem for secondary trading of STOs that is both algorithmic driven and allows for anyone to participate in the allocation of market making capital, and therefore benefit from the subsequent fees of being a liquidity provider. This DeFi solution will bring in a new wave of liquidity to STO trading and solves a key industry problem.
IX Swap is built by a team of capital markets and blockchain experts, both sets of skills and experience are necessary to develop product market fit. IX Swap has also partnered with leading security token platform, InvestaX.

Low Trading Volumes for STO and TSO
● Despite the exponential CAGR of STO issuances, the trading volume for STOs are still extremely low compared to other markets.
● Current trading volume at $10.9M monthly or $130.8M annualized.
● A large reason for this is due to the fact that many jurisdictions require licenses to market make, trade and deal such securities, which are often hard to attain.

The Effect of AMM/Liquidity Pools on Decentralised Exchanges
Prior to the introduction of AMMs and liquidity pools, decentralised exchange volume was almost non existent.
Total monthly DEX volume increased from $39.5m to $43.5b in a year growing by 110,100%.
IX Swap aims to bring even greater volume of liquidity to the STO market.

Problems
Liquidity
STO markets still remain relatively illiquid and trading is almost
non-existent
Long Investments Terms For Private Assets
Global investors currently own a significant amount of security tokens with long investment tenors which lay
idle
Lack of Regulated Market Makers
There is currently a lack of regulated market makers for alternative assets as these assets are illiquid and there has traditionally never been a market for
such assets
Strict Licensing Requirements
License required to deal and sell securities in different jurisdictions
Lack of Trust and Transparency
There is currently a lack of transparency with private assets as by its nature are
“private” and financials are not reported as thoroughly compared to public
markets

Liquidity Provider
● A DeFi liquidity pool is a smart contract that locks tokens to ensure liquidity for those tokens on an exchange. Users who provide tokens to the smart contract are called liquidity providers.
● Liquidity providers can stake their STOs to receive rewards for providing liquidity to the pool.
● IX liquidity pools are trading venues for users who wish to buy digital assets.

IX Swap Lending & Borrowing
Similar to traditional markets, the loan value will be a % of the asset’s current market value. A smart contract releases the collateral / STO once the loan has been repaid.
This allows STO investors to unlock the value of idle assets to pursue lucrative opportunities while still retaining ability to participate in the STO value appreciation.
Lenders of IXS Tokens deposit their tokens to receive interest from borrowers.
