Government Plan (Law 3/2010 28 April - 2010-2013) - national objectives for gender equality are: fights all discriminations, gender violence and domestic, social protection and support families.
The Resolution of the Council of Ministers nº 5/2011, 18 January - The IV-National Action Plan for Equality, Citizenship, Gender and no Discrimination (2010-2013).
The National Strategic Reference Framework - The Operational Programme for the Promotion of the Human Potential (POPH – 2010-2013) is the national authority responsible for the implementation of European Social Fund. Under the POPH several priority policy sectors or axis were design. Axis 7 aims at developing the capacity of national public institutions and civil society organizations to promoting gender equality.
In this regard, under typology 7.6-Promotion of Women Entrepreneurship, until November 2012, were created, by women, 469 companies and promoted training for 1.416 women.
The Operational Program for Competitiveness (POFC-2008-2012), there were 22 calls for proposals with a specific funding line to promote women entrepreneurship. As a result, 9 million euros were distributed among projects that foster women’s entrepreneurship.
By considering female entrepreneurship as a positive contribution to competitiveness and productivity and as a source of innovation in business at national level, under this Program, 327 projects have been supported. It allocates a bonus for female entrepreneurship, given to projects led by women which meet the following conditions:
a) The entrepreneur owns, directly or indirectly, a share equal to or exceeding 50% in the capital, for two years;
b) The entrepreneur plays executive functions in the company and keeps them at least two years after the completion of the project.
