Rules Review 15 checkpoints throughout Australia on the

way to the GREAT BARRIER REEF.

Your tribe has the opportunity to move 1 checkpoint per day.

To move through the checkpoints, your team must answer the CRCT practice questions with an honorable percent correct.

Along the way you will encounter “challenges” that will test your mind, body and soul.

Rules Review continued…

Performing well in the “Challenges” will earn your tribe votes which can be used to sabotage other teams from making it to the GREAT BARRIER REEF!

The best way to prepare yourself to be a SURVIVOR is to be sure you come to class prepared (Always bring your Survivor Guide Booklet and a pencil) and work as a team with your tribe members.

Team Building Activity

Materials needed:

1 piece of construction paper

Marker in team color

At the top of the piece of construction paper write the letters of each of your team member’s last names.

Using each letter only once, create as many words as possible out of the last name letters in 90 seconds.

The team who creates the most words will earn 5 extra seconds added to today’s challenge and the team that creates the longest word will earn 10 extra seconds added to today’s challenge.

All words must be spelled correctly and must be identifiable by your math teacher in order to count.

Tribe Arm Bands Each Tribe is assigned a name and color.

Working collaboratively, your tribe must create arm bands to identify each of the tribe members.

On the arm bands you must have your Tribe name and a logo to signify your tribe.

Using fabric in your tribe color and fabric paint neatly create an arm band for each member of your tribe.

Tribe Burpee Challenge

Your tribe will have 2 minutes to complete as many burpees as possible. The team who completes the most will earn immunity at today’s voting ceremony.

Here’s the catch – each tribe member must complete at least 3 burpees. After each tribe member has completed their three burpees then any tribe member or members can take over. Each tribe must have a master plan of who is starting, going second, third and finishing before beginning the challenge. Communication with your team is key!!

A member of another tribe will count the total out loud so all tribe members are aware of the total.

GOOD LUCK!!
