A PLAQUE WAS PRESENTED to Congregation Knesseth Israel of Gloversville for active participation in the National Enrollment Plan of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and the annual NEP luncheon in the Seminary last month. The presentation was made to Leon Siegel, center, congregation president, by Dr. Louis Finkelstein, chan- cellor of the 80-year-old center of the Conservative Movement who lauded the NEP as "a fund which symbolizes that broad democratic concern for Terah, which is in itself a great heritage of the Jewish people." At the left is Solomon Wise, immediate past president of the congregation. Under NEP, Individual members of congregations support the Seminary through annual contributions of $10 which they add to their congregation dues. During this "Year of Tribute" to the founders of the Seminary, the NEP leaders have set a goal of tl.000,000 for the maintenance of the many widespread programs of the Seminary.
