Whats the problem?? We are trying to develop a glider that will
not only glide for distance but also be as accurate as
possible.
Slide 4
INITIAL DESIGN The first design was a glider with a wide wing
span.
Slide 5
PROSPROS -The glider has good speed-Wings tend to move once it
lands -The glide can stay up for a long distance -Glider has good
accuracy -Very light

CHANGES TO DESIGN Our first design was the glider with the wide
wing span. Then we made the back up glider. After we built the main
glider, we tested it. The wide wing span could fly for distance but
not very accurate. It turned out that the backup was better in
gliding, accuracy, and it went the farthest out of the two. While
we were test flying the glider we noticed the it was not going as
far as it was the previous Wednesday. After changes we moved the
wings further back.

PLANPLAN PLAN Selig and I decided on the wide wing design for
distance. DO After two designs we decide on swept back wings for
stability for distance and accuracy CHECK Threw the glider numerous
times to determine which was the best design. Swept back was the
best or both accuracy and distance. ACT swept back design was the
best of the two.

KEY FEATURES The glider has the Air Force signal on each wing.
Looks like an Air Force fighter jet. The tip of the glider is
painted a lighter shade then the rest of the glider. Long swept
back design for aero dynamics. Wide tail wing for stability.
