Morris (Morrey) Plotkin

•  Chairman Emeritus (2012-2014)**deceased

• “Well-known and respected in the community for his philanthropic activities and contributions, Morrey was instrumental in securing funding for WPV at a critical time. He has helped make important connections to key leaders in this area. Although recently retired from the Board, he continues to be committed to the successes of WPV, recruiting new members and supporting fundraising efforts.”

What is the “Critical Time” they refer to?

• Carol explained:• “I began volunteering when the organization formed.

In the beginning there was a lack of leadership which was preventing the organization from thriving. “

• “My background: I worked at Toyota for 22 years in the financial arm in Human Resources.”

• “I was brought on as the director along with other new board members. I used my Human Resource skills in order to realign the organization with its original mission: helping the elderly population.”

• “I have a passion for working with the elderly.”
