What is the American Cancer Society?
• Mission– The American Cancer Society is the nationwide,
community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

What is Colleges Against Cancer?
• Mission– Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) is a nationwide
collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by working to implement the programs and mission of the American Cancer Society. With hundreds of chapters nationwide, CAC is showing the world that young people care and want to make a difference.
