Parking: We have no parking on premises, but there is a parking garage just two blocks away from the Library at 11 E Franklin St. There is also street parking but it usually fills up early in the morning. Personal Storytelling," a lively and interac ve explora on based
on Laura’s experience coaching thousands of people to tell their
true, personal tales since co‐founding The Stoop in 2006, and her
ongoing research into the fascina ng science of narra ve.

librarian storytellers, including Augusta Baker and Pura Belpre,
and how they used storytelling to connect with children.

Par cipants will learn to tell stories through the art of puppetry
in this hands‐on workshop that will lead you through the stages
of transforming a story into a produc on.
