Welcome to Caravan Club Site This site is surprisingly rural, in the shadow of an old chapel and with a pleasant open aspect, yet convenient for the motorways (M1, M6 and M42), Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre. The Transport Museum (open weekends and Bank Holidays Easter-October) is adjacent to the site and Becketts Farm Shop with restaurant is just a ten-minute walk away. Its proximity to the NEC (only 13 miles away) makes it a handy base for exhibitions such as the Caravan and Motorhome Show. It’s also marvellous for those with an interest in our industrial heritage for there are stacks of fascinating museums. Caravan Club Site

This site is surprisingly rural, in the shadow of an old chapel and with a pleasant open aspect, yet convenient for the motorways (M1, M6 and M42), Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre.

The Transport Museum (open weekends and Bank Holidays Easter-October) is adjacent to the site and Becketts Farm

Mail and messagesMail and messages are put on the board next to Reception.

Site shopOpen at the same times as Reception. The shop sells Aqua Kem, Aqua Rinse, Gas, newspapers, milk, ice cream and soft drinks. There is a farm shop close to the site.

Information RoomOpen at the same times as Reception. Leaflets are available about the many attractions and places of interest that you can visit during your stay.

Mobile telephonesAll networks can be used on this site.

Electric Hook-upThe costs of electricity are included in your pitch fee, but please help us minimise our effect on the environment by considering your electricity use while on site. Also any saving could help to reduce pitch fees or help towards investments in new sites or redevelopments.

Pitches Pitch carePlease lift awning ground sheets daily on grass pitches.

Motor caravansIf your pitch is left unoccupied, please leave your motor caravan sign on display.

Vacating your pitchIf you wish to stay after 12 noon on your day of departure, it is normally not a problem unless the site is fully booked. Please see the notice at reception.

BarbecuesThese are allowed on site but open fires are not. Please keep barbecues off the grass.

TelevisionIn order to watch television on site you will need an Integrated Digital TV (IDTV) or a digital receiver, and you may also need an aerial or satellite dish. For more information visit www.digitaluk.co.uk. A TV booster system is available.

Wi-FiWi-fi internet access is available on this site.

Toilets and showersThe toilet blocks are closed for cleaning at the times displayed in each block. The disabled toilet and shower facilities are located in Block B.

LaundryPrices for the use of the laundry facilities are: Washing machine £4.00, Tumble drier £1.00, Rinse & Spin £1.00 per 15min cycle. Washing sinks are also available. Please do not hang washing lines between trees or on the fences.

Recycling facilitiesOn site.

Safety on SitePetsPlease keep your dog on a lead at all times on the pitching area and roads within the site and clean up after them. There is a small dog walk on site and dogs can be walked off-site on the public footpaths.

Fire point(to activate alarm/warning) Located at each service point. The fire assembly point is in the late night arrivals area.

Security BarrierThere are 2 security barriers on site.

Vehicles and cyclesParents are reminded that children remain their responsibility and therefore they should be supervised at all times, and to ensure that all members of their party follow the principles of road safety. Motor vehicles and bicycles on site should, at all times, be used with due regard to the safety and convenience of others and their speed should not exceed walking pace (5mph). No cycling is permitted on site between the hours of dusk and dawn, as determined by the Wardens. Any one-way system signs should be observed by all vehicles and cycles. Foot pedalled cycles, scooters and skateboards can be used, but are not allowed on the paved area around toilet blocks and communal areas and must not be ridden on footpaths. Please note that motorised mobility scooters are allowed on site, but children’s motorised scooters or skateboards are not.

VisitorsPlease ask your visitors to make themselves known at Reception when arriving at the site. If you are expecting visitors after hours, please meet them at Reception.

Close by SupermarketsThe closest are Sainsbury’s and Aldi (2 miles) at the Maypole roundabout and Tesco (6 miles) in Shirley.

CinemaCineworld, Touchwood Centre in Solihull and the Apollo at the Kingfisher Centre in

Redditch.
