SISTERS IN STITCHES—first & third Tuesday each month—10 a.m. A group of ladies gather to make baby bibs and blankets for the Pregnancy Care Center. Typically, a young woman goes to the center seeking a pregnancy test and information on abortion, but leaves there with the desire to keep her baby. She takes with her a gift bag filled with items preparing her for the upcoming birth, including a blanket and bib made by our S.I.S. Our ladies have recently completed the following: 18 blankets and matching bibs, three baby quilts, seven burp cloths. The center av- erages 100 young women each month.
