Join us in The Heights, immediately following Fusion classes, for an important student ministry parent meeting. We will be sharing information regarding events and activities being planned for the remainder of 2014 through the summer of 2015. This will include some BIG changes in 2015 mission trips and summer camp, as well as real world parenting opportunities and fundraising information. PARENTS OF STUDENTS...STAY CONNECTED! Pick up a baby bottle at the Women’s Event Center today and join us as we take a stand for life in supporting the efforts provided through the Care Pregnancy Center in Southaven. Fill the bottle with your loose coins and return to the bottle receptacle provided. To date, returned bottles have netted $1,801! TREASURED DOVE LUNCHEON—Sunday, October 5—noon This luncheon is for all women facing life alone. Sign up at the Women’s Event Center. Anyone wishing to help with the luncheon is encouraged to sign up on the S.I.S. volunteer sheet. SISTERS IN STITCHES—first & third Tuesday each month—10 a.m. A group of ladies gather to make baby bibs and blankets for the Pregnancy Care Center. Typically, a young woman goes to the center seeking a pregnancy test and information on abortion, but leaves there with the desire to keep her baby. She takes with her a gift bag filled with items preparing her for the upcoming birth, including a blanket and bib made by our S.I.S. Our ladies have recently completed the following: 18 blankets and matching bibs, three baby quilts, seven burp cloths. The center av- erages 100 young women each month. For more information call Pat Freeman at 901.299.2162. WOMEN’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER— Tuesday, December 9—6:30 p.m. Special Guest: Kelley Cash, former Miss America and niece of Johnny Cash. Ladies, save the date for this SIS special event...you will not want to miss this one! LIFESONG - Sundays—4:30 p.m. Our youth choir “Lifesong” is open to all students, grades 7-12. No audition necessary. This group is under the direction of Bro. Blake. GENERATION PRAISE Sundays—5:30 p.m.—Chapel For first-sixth graders. We will be preparing for several very special upcoming events and we want you to be a part! GP VOCAL & DRAMA AUDITIONS! Open Call! GP Kids (grades 1-6) who are interest- ed in singing a SOLO or being part of a VOCAL ensemble this year in GP (now thru May) should sign up for an audition time-slot. Sign up sheets will be available TONIGHT at GP check-in/ pick-up. Audition dates will be October 5th and 12th. DRAMA audition date will be October 19th for grades 3-6. There are drama parts available for our Christmas drama, as well as our Spring musical. Be sure to sign up TODAY so Mrs. Lindsay can give you a scene to begin preparing for your audition!
