Ethnography Walked around Cardiff town and
noticed a lot of international students They always tend to keep to
themselves Some looked lost
Problem Identified The problem that I identified is that
people from other countries don't know the area well and they aren't interacting with residential students

Target Market Purpose Haven't been in the area for very long They don’t have time to explore the
city and socialise with other people. Saves them time instead of exploring
and getting lost.
Explanation of the problem in detail
International students from other countries come here for a good education and to experience a new culture. They are lonely, homesick and they haven’t been in the area long to know where places are to feel comfortable and to socialise with others.
Detailed design brief International students are often alienated by
the different culture and language barrier. In reaction to this a system or product should be designed to help international students locate areas in Cardiff.
This solution should also notify whether student events or activities are coming up. This gives them the option to interact more with other students from the U.K.
