Blanket Sunday !
The weekend of October 9-10 marks the 35th Annual Blanket Sunday Collection. This collection is sponsored by the Diocesan St. Vincent de Paul Society. Due to sanitary concerns and lack of storage space, we will gratefully accept your financial donation and the shopping for you, making your money go even further with bulk purchase of blankets and other items needed by the homeless and disadvantaged. So please “blanket” someone for the winter and give yourself a warm feeling.
St. John Nepomucene Regional Parish School of Religion is
accepting registration for any student in grades 1-8 for the 2021-2022 school year. We accept and serve children from Slavic Village and Southeast Cleveland parishes.
So invite a friend, relative, or neighbor to join us in learning
more about our faith. Classes will be done using a home school
model. Please call Judy Lasecki at 216-641-8444 ext 29 for more
details and to register.
“Building Church Together” Program
Over the next few weeks, you will be
hearing about our upcoming renewal
program “Building Church Together”.
This effort continues to be very
important as we move forward with
the mission and vision of St. John
Nepomucene Church. We, as a parish
family, have changed so many lives in
our community! In order to continue
our mission and ministries, we
encourage all parishioners to spend
time in prayer and discussion with
your family reflecting on the work we
do. Our special Commitment
Weekend will be celebrated on
October 9 & 10. If you have any
questions regarding the “Building
Church Together” Program, please feel
free to contact the parish office.

NEW DATE! Walking the Sacred Path.
Sunday, October 3 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm.
As we mark the turn of the seasons with the
autumnal equinox, we invite you to come
pray and meditate as you walk our
(temporary) labyrinth in the JRC meadow.
Our labyrinth is modelled on the one
embedded in the floor of the Chartes
Cathedral in France. While ancient in origin,
walking and praying the labyrinth became
popular for Christians in the Middle Ages
when it was difficult or dangerous to go on
pilgrimage. A labyrinth walk can represent a
life journey, a pilgrimage to a sacred place,
or a prayer path that leads us to God. Cost:
