Complete any Mathletics activities from
Recap and what coins we have in Australia - How even though they are all coins some are worth more than others. Discuss the features of the coins (shape, size, picture) Play a game where you tell the children features of the coin and they have to guess what coin it is.
Children colour the coins in according to the code. To extend you could count how much of each coin is on the page. Ask questions – what could you buy with that?

History: History of Communication These lessons cover communication concepts relating to how daily life of the present is different from the past and how this could change the future. Brainstorm: How do we communicate both verbally and nonverbally? How do we communicate with each other? Is nonverbal communication harder than verbal communication? Read Read the eBook When Seasons Change to find out what happens when seasons change. *Which is your favourite season and why? * What smells nice in spring or autumn? *What tastes nice in summer or winter? Activity Create a poster on paper. Give the seasons a new name based on what you know about them. Write and explain the name they gave them. Include pictures in your poster.
