In writing we reviewed our expectations in writing workshop. We reviewed the different nonfiction text features and got to to a nonfiction text feature scavenger hunt with a parner. Reading: This week in reading we reviewed our expectations in reading workshop. We talked about all the thinking that happens during reading and how it’s important to stop and record this thinking to help us better understand what’s going on in the text. We got to use sticky notes to write down our questions we had while reading books from our book tubs. We then learned what a deep question is. Math: In math we starting unit 5.
