Members and regular attenders are welcome to check out books, videos, or CDs between and after church services. Please follow the procedures on the check-out table, and return items within a month. New Time for Saturday Night Service!

So that we can reach more people for Jesus, our Saturday evening service will be changing to 6 pm starting November 4. Classes will meet at 5 pm. Please mark this on your calendars!

Join an ECC Small Group Today!New groups are forming this month. Go to www.eaglechristianchurch.com, choose “Small Groups” and follow the links. For help, come to Connection Corner after any service. New groups include one for young marrieds on Sunday evenings, led by Michael & Jody England.

Do You Have Questions?ECC is blessed with qualified min-isterial staff who support our congregation. Each weekday, a staff person is available to answer your questions and direct you to helpful resources. Call the church during office hours and we will be happy to help you.

Heart of ECC ClassThe third week of this four-week class is October 15 at 10:30 am in the gym. For those new to ECC, this class will intro-duce you to the staff and ministries of Eagle Christian Church. It is also a chance to meet other new people and get connected. Presenters for this week are Matt Ahearn and Nate Lacy. If you have questions, contact Mark Post at 208-286-0879.

Trunk or Treat October 29Trunk or Treat is an event for the entire family! Join us Sunday, October 29, from 6–8 pm! We will have decorated trunks, a hay ride, chili cookoff, a bounce house, and more! Bring your whole family,

invite some friends, and enjoy community with one another.

If you’d like to sign up to decorate your trunk or bring chili for the cookoff, please sign up in the lobby after one of

our services!

Young Adults (18–29)The Young Adult Gathering will be at the Eagle Campus on October 29 at 5 pm in the chapel for worship, dinner, and Trunk-or-Treat. The fol-lowing week, November 5, the Young Adult Gathering will be at the Biblical Studies Center near BSU for a Worship Night. Operation Christmas ChildPlease save shoe boxes for this year’s Operation Christmas Child, and bring them to the kiosk in the lobby starting next weekend. Last year we sent over 1,000 boxes, and our goal this year is to surpass that amount. More information will be available next weekend. Contact Mark Post at [email protected] with questions.

You are encouraged to take part and find out more about the church, your faith, and how to be everything God wants you to be! ECC OCTOBER MISSIONS: Hear the Cry of the WorldOperation Christmas Child is coming once again. Sharing the love of Christ in a practical way, your family can fill boxes for a special holiday gift to children in underdeveloped countries around the world. Last year we filled more than 1,000 boxes as a church family. Praise the Lord! More information is coming next weekend.

Our church planting partnerships—Please pray and encourage these partners in the Gospel:

Church of the City—Russell and Emily Clum (BBC) are in Portland, Oregon reaching the city with the love of Christ.

The Ivanhoe Project—Darryl (BBC) and Stephanie Answer are planting a Christian community in the heart of the poorest inner city area of Kansas City.

ICPA—Our church planting partnership with Steve Edwards and ICPA is a great partnership as we continue to plant churches in the Northwest. Pray for fresh vision and strong teams of planters.
