Campaign, Canal St• Ongoing meeting structure • 23 incidents since 2012• 5 confirmed fatal incidents • 4 high profile incidents in Jan 2014• 1 of these confirmed fatal incident • Use of GMFRS resources

•Set up in March 2013

•Made up of GMFRS,GMP, Manchester City council, Canal Trust, City Co

•Meet on a quarterly basis to discuss impacting issues

•Mainly in response to the spate of issues at the ‘Undercroft’ Canal St.

•Gate off the canal tow path between Dale St and Piccadilly in Manchester city centre

•Area long renowned for its sexual activity and criminality
