Located just north of Seoul, Bukhan Mountain offers numerous different trails to enjoy and features many scenic sites, including a Buddhist temple and sweeping view of Seoul. Bukhan Mountain also has many snack shops, restaurants and souvenir shops. Newcomer’s Orientation & TourOrientation: October 15 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.Local Tour: October 16 from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
A two-day orientation and tour provides newly arrived community members valuable information about life in Area I. The first day is orientation and a tour of St. Mary’s Hospital in Uijeongbu city. The second day is Dongducheon city tour. The first day orientation is required in order to join the Dongducheon city tour. Open to all Soldiers, spouses and civilians. Reservation required.
