w h a t ’s i n s i d e i can’t believe it is april already! Spring has sprung and it is officially time to start thinking about getting outside with the

boys and enjoying some spring sun - not to mention taking some time to spring clean my life a bit - get-ting rid of clutter, finding a schedule that makes me productive as possible and ofcourse, remembering to stop to smell the flowers that are going to start popping up everywhere! I am really excited that I have finally saved up enough for the Photoshop Creative Suite, and I am really thrilled to be writing to you from In Design. Please bear with me as this newsletter is sure to have a few tweaks! But also, stay tuned because I can’t wait for all the new improved goodies I’ll be able to bring you using my new improved tools!

“My name is Rachael Giallongo! I have been married to Scott since Leap Year Day 1996! Between us, we have 5 chil-dren- Nicole is 17, Victoria is 14, Me-

gan is 12, Dane is 9 and Dylan is 8. We live in south-ern NH in a small town just outside Manchester.

My husband is a chef and I work part time in the marketing department for a high end furniture manufacturer here in NH.

I started paper scrapping in 1998. I have had the honor of having my work appear in: Creat-ing Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrap & Stamp Arts and several other publications. I created my first digital scrapbook page in July 2005 on the train on my way to the CHA summer show. Between July & November I created 30 or so layouts. In November, the bug really hit me hard and I have created 900+ layouts since that time with new“ layouts added to my gallery almost daily.”

I’m so excited to have Rachael as a part of our team for the months of March and April! Her gallery is just brimming with inspiration, and her pages reallyreflect her passion for scrapbooking. I am sure that you will really encjoy all of Rachaels incredible work!

Capricious is a kit that I made on a whim... i was just drawn to this picture i saw with sort of graphic images and these soft pretty organic colors, plus some bold dark brown weight. Throughout

the whole process of creating papers and elements it was fun to just follow my mood a create as the mood struck me. I this page from Cindy using “Inverted Doo-dlie Love” in the Sweet Shoppe Designs gallery. It jumped right out at me, whith these perfectly adorable pictures! And she really filled this page with enough elements to give it the perfect whimsi-cal feel.
