There’s been a lot of buzz around the site ever since March 23, when the Triumph transaction was announced. People are basically wondering the same thing: How will this impact us here in Nashville? The fact is, we don’t know much about what the transition will entail. At this early stage in the deal, there are many more questions than answers. As things are sifted out at a higher level, information will be shared with employees in a timely manner. All communications associated with this transaction will be posted on the Vought Intranet. From the home page, click on Communications; then Triumph Transaction. One thing I do know is that our day-to-day jobs remain the same as they’ve always been. We must focus on safely producing quality structures, on time, for our customers. That is paramount. If we concentrate on doing our best, I am confident this site will continue to have a strong future. As an operating division within Triumph, Vought becomes part of a well-managed, well-capitalized, publicly traded company. It’s a logical and necessary step in the evolution of Vought, which benefits our customers, employees and investors. Here’s to looking favorably on the changes we’re facing as a site and a company! With a sound work ethic and positive attitude, the sky’s the limit. Dan Tharp General Manager It’s Time To March for Babies!
