Mudguards (Kit P/N 715 001 208 ) The following symbols may be used in this document: WARNING Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury. NOTICE Indicates an instruction which, if not followed, could severely damage vehicle components or other property. WARNING For safety reasons, this kit must be installed by an authorized BRP dealer. This kit is designed for specific applicable models only (authorized BRP dealers will confirm model(s)). It is not rec- ommended for units other than the one (those) for which it was sold. This instruction sheet MUST be given to the purchaser. Should removal of a locking device (e.g. lock tabs, self-locking fasteners, etc.) be required when undergoing dis- assembly/assembly, always replace with a new one. Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered to. Always wear EYE PROTECTION AND APPROPRIATE GLOVES when using power tools. Unless otherwise specified, engine must be OFF when performing any operation on the vehicle. Always be aware of parts that can move, such as wheels, transmission components, etc. Some components may be HOT. Always wait for engine to cool down before performing work.     wheel.2. Remove and discard the screw and its nut that

    retain the front fascia to fender.3. Remove the external screw and its nut securing

    the bottom of the fender to footrest.

    4. Position the front mudguard [P1] or [P2] onfront fender.4.1 Secure the front of mudguard using the

    previously removed M6 x 25 TORX screwand a new M6 elastic flange nut [P6].

    4.2 Secure the bottom of mudguard using anew M6 x 20 TORX screw [P5] and a newM6 elastic flange nut [P6].

    4.3 Tighten nuts to 2.5Nm 0.5Nm(22 lbfin 4 lbfin).

    5. Press the mudguard against the fender. Verifythe fit between mudguard and fender.

    6. Hold mudguard in this position and drill a6.35mm (1/4 in) hole through fender using themudguard hole as a template.

    7. Drill two other 6.35mm (1/4 in) hole throughfootrest.

    8. Secure the mudguard with new M6 x 20 TORXscrews [P5] and new M6 elastic flange nuts[P6].

    9. Tighten nuts to 2.5Nm 0.5Nm(22 lbfin 4 lbfin).

    10. Reinstall front wheel.11. Lower vehicle and tighten wheel lug nuts as

    per the following table.

    3. Remove and discard the screw and its nut thatretain the outside of the rear lights housing.

    4. Position the rear mudguard [P3] or [P4] on rearfender.4.1 Secure the rear of mudguard using a new

    M6 x 20 TORX screw [P5] and a new M6elastic flange nut [P6].

    4.3 Install LH bracket [P7] with notch pointingupward, as illustrated.

    NOTE: You will have to re-use two existingM8 X 50 Torx screws located close to shockmount to install LH bracket.

    M6 elastic flange nuts 2.5Nm 0.5Nm(22 lbfin 4 lbfin)

    5. Lean the mudguard against the fender. Verifythe fit between mudguard and fender.

    6. Hold the mudguard in this position and drill a6.35mm (1/4 in) hole through fender using themudguard hole as a template.
