Hotel – Blue Cypress Hotel

• 3-star hotel• $85/swimmer - 4 per room (3 nights)• VSA will pay for coaches and chaperone rooms• 5 minutes from UTA

Transportation

• 2 - personal mini- vans driven • 1 - 15 pax van rented - $925• Gas:– 724 round trip and in/about gas in Arlington: $450

Food

• Per Day:– Breakfast included with hotel– Lunch: $10/day (will try to reduce cost if possible)– Dinner: $15/day (will try to reduce cost if

possible)– Snacks: $5/day – will buy for rooms and let them

to eat as needed• Total estimated cost: $130/swimmer for trip

Pool and Workouts

• Two – 2 hr workouts Sat and Sun• One – 2 hr workout Friday and Monday• University of Texas, Arlington Pool Rental:– $165/ 2 hrs (includes mandatory life guards)– VSA will pay for pool and lifeguards

Other Activities

• Plans not finalized; swimmers can have input• Ideas include:– Six Flags ($32 to $42/person)– Tour Dallas Stadium (Self-Guided Tour Adult $17.50; Children/Seniors $14.50)– Trampoline jumping ($20/ 2 hours per person)

Money and Sign Up

• Total:– based on 12 swimmers going $425 - $450

• Will try to reduce costs wherever possible• $150 deposit due by May 20th

• Balance due by May 29th
