In the beginning there was nothing in the universe but fire, so hot that all of creation burned and faded from existence. Finally there was one object that the heat could not destroy, this was an egg. From this egg Draco and Drakaina were born. From Draco and Drakaina were born two sons who control that which is above and that which is below. As well as their first two sons they also gave birth to the world as well as all of those whom live upon it.

Creation Myth

Being the only ones whom could keep the fires at bay, after creating all, Draco and Drakaina used their strength to capture the fires. Giving up their immense strength they subdued the force into the fires of the earth and the lava that created the lands. Upon this they built their civilization for their children to rule.

Draco and Drakaina had two sons, Vulver and Varo. These two were compete opposite, one was dark, Vulver, and the other light, Varo. Vulver was jealous of his brother, he was their father’s favorite son. Varo would be the one to rule Volcanivore, not Vulver. One day Varo was practicing his magic, his father taught them both. Vulver watched and became even more jealous of the power Varo had. Vulver knew a spell though, if he could destroy his brother he could take all his power.

Flood Myth

Vulver picked a fight with Varo. This was one of the biggest fights in history. Very soon, fire started to appear. They aimlessly spit their fire toward each other and missed. Hitting the agriculture fields and homes instead. Along with the fire, their fight was making Volcanivore shake. Causing the volcanos fire to rise.

Flood Myth Cont…Soon lava was pouring out and covering the land. Vulver seen what they had caused and smiled. He took his power and raised the lava up even more flooding their home. Draco and Varo saw what had happened to the land caused by Vulver. Varo banished Vulver to the underworld. After weeks the lava was finally back in the holes in the ground and the dragons were working on restoring what they had. Vulver was not allowed back on Volcanivore again.

Dying & Resurrection

Varo, the good brother, had a wife named Victorial, Varo was blinded by love, because he couldn’t see that his wife, Victorial was in love with his evil brother Vulver. Victorial was so angry at Varo for sending Vulver down to the underworld, banished him to where he wouldn’t see the top of the surface again. Victorial lead Varo away from their home, going on a journey is what she told him, and so they went. When they were far enough away, Victorial killed Varo by striking his heart. She then shoved him down the farthest hole in the ground, sending him to the underworld with his brother Vulver.

Dying & Resurrection cont… Victorial ran back to their home and told everyone he was killed by a rouge dragon and pushed into the underworld. Varo’s parents, Draco and Drakaina, we angry and sadden. One women though, who was truly in love with Varo, Fara, saw through Victorial’s evil and accused her. Victorial then ran to the hole leading to the underworld, with Fara following. Once they arrived at the hole, Victorial jumped in. Fara waited for a little bit, then followed her, through the hole that leads to the underworld, where there was no way out.

Once in the underworld, Vulver made Victoral his queen. Varo was devastated when hearing the news, but he saw then what Fara had sacrificed for him and instantly fell in love. They then started their way out of the underworld, when Vulver stopped them, stating there was no way they could escape. Varo and Fara had love so deep, they passed Vulver and his evilness and escaped the underworld. They found only true love can conjure the darkness.

Upon using their love to conquer his brother the two emerged upon the land. As penance for some one delving into the underworld and returning the hole from which he emerged grew tall as a mountain. As soon as it reach its tallest lava began to flow from the peak from the rage of his brother knowing they had escaped his grasp. Once a year upon the anniversary of their escape from the underworld Vulver causes the mountain to erupt with lava as a reminder to his brother that he will always be the one and only whom got away.

In the end our people are judge by the two brothers. On one hand you have Varo whom takes in account the good you have done during your life and Vulver whom weights what you have done bad to your brethren. If your scale tips to Varo then you will fly to be with those whom have been allowed a peace in the afterlife by his side. If you scale tips to Vulver you are stripped of your wings and cast into the hole from which Varo was cast when killed by Victoral to sit in torture by Vulver for the rest of eternity.

Afterlife Fly or Fall

With the fires of destruction being locked away by Draco and Drakaina there began the building of the world and an era of peace. Legend for tells of a mighty alchemist whom one day will be able to harness the fires of destruction. When he does so he will accidentally release them upon the world as well as the underworld. When this comes true the world will become swallowed by fire and the universe will go back to what it once was because Draco and Drakaina will not have the power to fight back. Upon this day their fates will be decided by the two brothers who now control the lands.
