Quran recitation in the light of Hadeeth & verses:It is not unknown to anyone the merits of reciting and memorizing the Quran. There are many Ayas and Hadiths that highlight this fact, examples of which are:
first of all we pray to Allah to make it easy for you to read Quran and obtain its reward. Allah the Almighty says, “Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most suitable.” (Al Israa: 9).

Jabir ibn Abdullah (ra) reports that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said;
“…The most accurate and truthful speech is the Book of Allah.
Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said;
“Whoever recites the Qur’ān secures (knowledge of) prophethood within his ribs (bosom), though Divine Revelation has not been sent upon him. It does not befit one endowed with the Qur’ān that he should be indignant with those in anger, nor should he indulge in any act of ignorance with those who are ignorant, while the Speech of Allah Almighty is with him in his chest.”[12]
The judge of the competition was Sir Junaid Sulaiman. He was
impressed with the participants and their achievements and advised our
students about the ways to improve their recitation. He encouraged
students to recite the Quran with Tajweed and to recite each letter
precisely from its source of origin in order not to change the meaning of
the Quran. He also advised students to learn rules that are related to
stopping whilst reading the Quran. Students were also encouraged to
memorize more from the holy Quran and to practice their memorization
regularly.
Credence High School Dubai, would like to thank all the students for participating in this year’s virtual Quran competition. In the Qur’an, a pious Muslim hears God’s
voice guiding and encouraging, consoling
and reproaching, promising the righteous mercy and eternal bliss,
while threatening the wicked with wrath and
eternal torment. For Muslims, the Qur’an is the word of God, which
has entered human time to shape history.
According to Muslim sources, the Angel
Gabriel revealed himself to Prophet Muhammad in 610 CE while he was in prayerful retreat in a
cave on Mount Hira, outside Mecca. It is said
that in this initial meeting, the Angel
Gabriel pressed Muhammad so
vehemently that he felt he was being choked. The Qur’an states that
the angel then commanded:
Recite in the name of your Lord
who created, created man from
a blood clot. Recite, for your
Lord is most magnanimous -
who taught by the pen; taught
man that which he did not
know. (Qur’an 96:1-5)
To sum it up, the Holy Quran acts as the basis of Islam, and its teachings are pivotal in understanding Islam. Based on the essay, it can be concluded that the major themes of the Holy Quran are God, prophets, man, divine scriptures, and sin. God is merciful, forgiving and is above all what is on earth and in heaven.
The book teaches Muslims how to live good lives and follow God. The book is kept on a high shelf above other books, and the boys wash before handling it, to show
their respect for the word of God, or Allah.
