• Re Rolling Mill Motor is used as a prime mover to Drive the

ReRolling Mill.

• It reduces the bigger sized Billets or rods to smaller cross

section

• The Torque demanded for a RRM Motor is very High and

therefore RRM motors must be Slip Ring motors.

Magnetic Core – Low loss, high permeability, insulated cold rolled

electrical steel stamping are hydraulically compressed to form rigid

construction.

Stators and Rotors are wound with copper strip conductors with class F

insulation. Stator winding over hang are braced with Fiber glass bracing

ring & wound rotor over hang banded with Resi Glass banding to with

stand momentary over loads and periodic peak loads.

Flood Impregnated with insulating impregnating varnish based on a

isophthalic alkyd resin having Class F thermal stability & Epoxy Gel Coat

on Over hang to ensure longevity of protection against chemicals &

moisture.

High Carbon Steel shaft with a larger cross section will provide

strength & rigidity to minimize deflection & Vibration.

Heavy Duty Bearings, Brush gear & Slip rings ensure high efficiency

even under severe operating conditions.

Design ensures Efficient Ventilation, which helps in better heat

transfer from cores & windings.
