William Ryan Kisker, DMD

William Ryan Kisker, DMD graduated from New Jersey Dental School in Newark, NJ. After graduation he completed two years of advanced training in general dentistry at York Hospital in York, PA.

Dr. Kisker provides comprehensive dental care to adults and children with particular emphasis on cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry. He has a license from the state of Illinois to provide most forms of sedation including, nitrous oxide gas, oral sedation and intravenous sedation.

Dr. Kisker prides himself on using the lastest techniques and cutting-edge technology. He completes many continuing education courses each year. His efforts to obtain outstanding advanced training in many complex areas of dental care have resulted in fellowship and mastership awards from the Academy of General Dentistry and a Master Award from the College of Sedation in Dentistry. In 2012, our Vernon Hills dentist became board-eligible by the American Board of General Dentistry by passing the challenging step 1 written exam.

Dr. William Kisker, a general dentist, is licensed by the State of Illinois to administer nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV (intraveneous) sedation to his patients during dental treatment. Dr. Kisker has had advanced training in anesthesia at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

Nitrous Oxide:

Nitrous Oxide or "laughing gas" is a type of inhalation anesthesia that will help relieve your anxiety and relax during your dental treatment.

Oral Sedation:

A patient that has received a sedative is awake at all times. The medications will be adjusted to help them feel more relaxed during their treatment. A sedated patient may remember the procedures, but will be more relaxed.

IV (Intraveneous) medication:

Intraveneous (IV) medications are used to induce sleep. The sedative and anesthetic medications to put you to sleep. Because the medication is given IV, Dr. Kisker can precisely give the correct amounts of the medications to make you relaxed and comfortable.
