Return of the Shekinah when Venus Mercury are together

The Book of Hiriam tells us Mercury and Venus seen together in Hebraic Culture was honored as the Return of the Shekinah or the Divine Feminine Presence Lighting our World.

This includes building Solomon’s Temple specifically aligned to capture the light of the Shekinah when Venus and Mercury appeared together in the eastern morning sky.

Make an Earth Altar and Initiate a Daily Practice of Making Offerings to the Land

This month choose a place on the land—if you are in an urban area this might be on your back patio for example, or in an off-trail location at a local park.

Create an Earth Altar - at its simplest this might mean creating a small beautiful altar with earth-friendly objects including stones, crystals, feathers, bones, seeds, flowers, etc.

A more complex altar/land offering site might be a medicine wheel aligned to the four directions or small altars built at each of the four directions around your home or property.

Making Your Offering

Initiate a regular practice (ideally daily if possible) of tending your altar by making offerings and observing how nature speaks to you atthis location. Ideally, this is a place where you can see Evening Star Venus and perhaps conduct ceremony at her monthly Moon Gates!

Offerings might include honoring the directions, songs, prayers,

flowers, cornmeal, rose petals, favorite foods (for example

candies, dried fruits, etc.), alcohol, smoke cleanses, charged

crystals, painted stones, artwork, and so on as symbolic gifts for

the creatures, plants and trees, waters, stones, the sky above and

earth spirits.

It is always good practice honoring and acknowledging all who have lived on this land with special recognition for the earliest indigenous communities.
