Transmitter) The vLocPro Transmitter is used to apply a signal current to ground. The utility returns the signal via faults / leakage, back to the transmitter. The transmitter is designed to be powered from Dry Cell battery tray or optional rechargeable battery tray. The non-intrusive measuring device; vLocPro Receiver, takes measurements along the utility and display the results directly onto the colour screen of the receiver. There is no need to carry extra logging and display devices. A +/- 3M accuracy optional external GPS antenna is being supplied with kit. It links to the vLocPro Receiver via a Bluetooth radio link. The GPS ensures that the user can generate real time measurements with GPS co-ordinates. Optional storing the results also has the benefit of facilitating the data recording. All the data is displayed and logged into the receiver which can be downloaded to a spread sheet and / or kml file format; allows the user to establish trends of measurements. The A-Frame Fault Finding Optional Accessory is used to accurately locate the position of a cable isolation faults to ground or sheath fault. Arrows points the user to the position of the fault whilst quickly and efficiently display the magnitude of fault signal on the receivers display. This ensures the user minimises the chances of misidentification.
