Avoid slang or jargon –Use shorter words where possible Avoid complex sentence structuresLimit each paragraph to one idea

If you assign just one idea to each paragraph site visitors can:

Easily scan through each paragraph

Get the general gist of what the paragraph is about

Then move on to the next paragraph

Use clear and simple language

Use descriptive link text

• Heuristic is an adjective for experience-based techniques that

help in problem solving, learning and discovery.

• A heuristic method is particularly used to rapidly come to a

solution that is hoped to be close to the best possible answer,

or 'optimal solution'.

• Heuristics are "rules of thumb", educated guesses, intuitive

judgments or simply common sense.

• A Heuristic is a general way of solving a problem.

• Heuristics stand for strategies using readily accessible

information to control problem solving in human beings and

machines.
