the problem

In current healthcare models, the main emphasis is on the patient, but most patients use the help of loved ones to assist them on their path to wellness. The debilitating effects of putting the needs of others before their own are often ignored.

Caregiver stress is the emotional and physical strain of caregiving. Individuals experiencing caregiver stress are often the most vulnerable

to a decline in their own health.
