UP NEXT • Dayton closes out the regular season at Massachusetts on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. TERRIFIC TUCKER • Tucker is his 21st season at UD and has amassed an overall record of 302-114-29 overall and 161-31-10 vs. A-10 opponents. • Tucker is one of just 17 active coaches to have won 300 matches in NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer. CAMPBELL’S CAREER• Campbell is one of eight Flyers to score at least 20 goals and dish 20 assists in her career. She has 22 career assists. • Her game-winning goal vs. UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 20) was the 50th of Campbell’s career. She became just the third Flyer to score 50 goals. • With her four points in UD’s 5-2 win over Rice on Sept. 11, Campbell moved up to second all-time at Dayton for career points. She currently has 140. • Campbell scored 18 goals during the 2013 season, which is tied for fourth best at UD for a single season.
WATERS CAN ASSIST YOU • Senior Nicole Waters leads the NCAA for active players in career assists (52). She is also first in the NCAA with her .88 assists per game this year.• Waters holds the UD single-season assists record with 18, which she set in 2014.• Her 52 career assists rank first on UD’s all-time Top 10 list. • Waters is one of eight Flyers to score at least 20 goals and dish 20 assists in her career. She has scored 20 goals. • Waters was fourth, nationally, in assists (18) in 2014 and led the nation with 17 assists in 2013. NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK • True freshman Kaelyn Johns has started every match in goal for the Flyers. She has amassed 68 saves in 17 matches. • True freshman Nadia Pestell has started all 17 matches for the Flyers on defense. She has logged 1,367 minutes. SLOW START • The Flyers have never started the year 0-5-0 until this season. Dayton has only posted five consecutive losses in one other season, which was UD’s longest losing streak of seven in 1994.
FANTASTIC FRESHMEN • Dayton’s freshmen have a history of making an impact. • The Flyers have had at least one respresentative on the A-10 All-Rookie team every year since it started in 2000.• Last year Alexis Kiehl and Nicolette Griesinger were both named to the A-10 All-Rookie team. • Kiehl was the third-leading scorer for the Flyers and Griesinger started every match and lead UD in minutes played with 2,135. • This season, freshmen Kaelyn Johns and Nadia Pestell have started every match for the Flyers.
FLYER SUCCESS • The Dayton women’s soccer program owns an overall record of 426-181-46 since it became a varsity program in 1984. • The Flyers made NCAA Tournament appearances in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2014, advancing to the second round in both 2009 and 2010 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001.

TOP OF THE SENIOR CLASS• University of Dayton’s Ashley Campbell and Nicole Waters were two of the 30 women’s soccer players selected as candidates for the 2015 Senior CLASS Award® given to student-athletes who excel both on and off the field.• Dayton women’s soccer is one of three programs to have two candiates in the Top 30: Dayton, Oklahoma State and Rutgers. A-10 PRESEASON HONORS• For the seventh consecutive year, the Dayton women’s soccer team has been chosen as the Atlantic 10 Conference preseason favorite in a vote conducted by the league’s 14 head coaches. • Ashley Campbell, Nicole Waters, Erin O’Malley, Alexis Kiehl and Nicolette Griesinger were named to the A-10 Preseason All-Conference Team. • The Flyers aim to defend their A-10 Championship and add a fifth title in seven years.
LATE SEASON RECOGNITION• The Flyers were ranked seventh in the 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire Mid-Atlantic Final Regular Season Poll.
SISTER SISTER• Twin sisters Alexis and Kaitlynn Kiehl committed to the UD women’s soccer team after graduating early from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati. They enrolled in classes at UD in the 2014 spring semester to get a jump on their collegiate careers.
CAMPBELL ON ALL-AMERICAN TEAM• Ashley Campbell was named a College Sports Madness 4th Team All-American for her efforts during the 2014 season. Campbell started in 23 games for Dayton. • She led the Flyers in goals (16) and was tied for second on the team in assists (6).
2014 A-10 TOURNAMENT CHAMPS• The Flyers have won the A-10 Tournament Championship a league-record nine times. • To win the title in 2014, Dayton had to knock off two teams that dealt them a regular season loss (Saint Joseph’s, a 3-1 loss on Oct. 10 and La Salle, a 1-0 loss on Oct. 17) and another they tied in the regular season finale (VCU, tied 1-1 in double overtime).
2014 ALL-ATLANTIC 10 FLYERS• Nicole Waters was named the 2014 A-10 Midfielder of the Year. • Ashley Campbell and Waters were named First Team All-A-10. • Alexis Kiehl and Erin O’Malley were named Second Team All-Atlantic 10. • Kiehl was also named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team along with Nicolette Griesinger. • Megan Herr was voted in as Academic All-Conference.

DAYTON’S MEGAN HERR EARNS COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT HONORS• University of Dayton junior Megan Herr was selected to the Capital One Academic All-District Team for women’s soccer on Oct. 30, 2014. • The Bowling Green, Ohio native and political science major posted a perfect 4.0 GPA to earn the second team all-district honor. • The Dayton women’s soccer team has had at least one player selected to either the First or Second Capital One Academic All-District team since 2007. PLAYING FOR NATIONAL PRIDE• The Flyers have two players that have trained or played with the Canadian National Team. • Ashley Campbell (Bradford, Ontario), and Nicole Waters (Terra Cotta, Ontario) earned their first-ever international caps when the U-20 Canadian National team took on Norway July 31, 2014. • They played in three matches against a local professional team, and teams from Norway and Denmark. • Campbell played 147 minutes in four matches with one start in the 2014 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

PRONUNCIATION GUIDEEntering his 21st season at the helm in 2015, University of Dayton head coach Mike Tucker has built the Flyers into one of the Atlantic 10 Conference’s premier programs during his tenure.
He is a five-time Atlantic 10 Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year, the 2009 NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year and finalist for the 2009 National Coach of the Year. As head coach at the University of Dayton for the past 20 years, Mike Tucker is the Flyer’s all-time wins leader in women’s soccer history. His astounding career conference mark of 161-31-10 is an A-10 record .826 winning percentage.
He has coached and mentored seven NSCAA All-Americans during his tenure. He has coached 57 First Team All-Atlantic 10 selections and the Flyers have had 20 Atlantic 10 Offensive Players of the Year, Defensive Players of the Year, Midfielders of the Year or Rookies of the Year in that same time.Under Coach Tucker, UD has tallied 11 regular season Atlantic 10 conference titles, nine conference tournament championships, and nine NCAA tournament appearances, including advancing to the NCAA Second Round in 2009 and 2010, and a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2001.
Coach Tucker has a long tradition of molding his student-athletes into winners both on the field, and more importantly, in the classroom. For the last 20 years the UD women’s soccer team has posted a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, consistently earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award.
Tucker, a 1969 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, coached the Cincinnati Cardinals club team for nine years (1983-1991), compiling a record of 310-52-34. They were league cham-pions eight times and won 27 major tournament championships in the nine-year span that Tucker was coach. He has been a state ODP coach for more than 20 years.
