As we are entering the warmer months, our state fruit—the peach—is starting to come into
season. Below is a recipe to make with your children. This is a great time to speak with your
child about different things that come from Georgia.
Fruit Salad Ice Pops 1 peach, cut into 1/2 inch slices (1/2 cup) 3 oz. blueberries (1/2 cup) 2 kiwis, peeled & sliced into 1/4 –inch rounds 1.5 to 2 cups of 100% white-grape juice 4 oz. strawberries, hulled & halved (3/4 cup) Arrange some of each fruit in eight 3-oz. ice-pop molds (make sure the pieces fit snugly). Pour enough juice into each mold to cover the fruit. Insert ice-pop sticks and freeze until solid (about 6 hours) for up to 2 weeks. Makes 8 pops.
