taken by the learner to make learning

easier, faster, more enjoyable, more self-

directed, more effective, and more

applicable to real situations.

36 students in Intermediate 3 from 2 different

classes and registered in 2003 academic year, 10

from colleges and the rest from SMU

Divide into 2 classes (each 18 students) : class A

as experiment class and class B as control class

1st : ‘Modified’ Barsh Learning-Style Inventory

2nd : Students’ notation learning strategies

3rd : Game city to confirm their learning style

All the instruments that collected from both “A”

(experiment class) and “B” (control class)

were analyzed, classified, and interpreted;

there were the data from group A to follow-up

The treatment has an effect/influence on students’ score/achievement

T observed (68) is more than t value (2,11) meaning that Ho is rejected.

If the learners have recognized their own learning

styles and learning strategies, they will be easy

to implement the ways to learn English effectively

An independent/autonomous learners so that

they can keep improving their abilities even there

is no teacher around
