• This is a MCU of the news reader. This print screen was taken from the very beginning of the video clip and it is the introduction shot because she’s ‘eye-level’ with the camera angle, which creates an equal relationship between the presenter and audience.

• ‘Actuality footage’ is very important in a news story as it creates to emotional impact on the viewer. It shows you how serious the story is and knowing that it is ‘real life footage’ enhances your thoughts.

• Having this establishing shot, zooming in on the BBC, allows the reader to trust the news as they know where it’s taken from. Having a placed location is all part of the ‘technical elements’ to help the viewers trust the news readers… Along with the presenters looking professional.

• Having a low angle shot shows the height of the Muslim Brotherhood Headquarters behind the witnesses. Including this in the background allows the viewers to see the atmosphere of the area whilst listening to the emotional and furious locals.

• Again with this shot, by it being a LS with the field reporter moving towards the scene, it shows you a establishing shot of the ruins by the protesters in Egypt.
