On an April evening in 1939, a small group of people met with district superintendent I. C. Mathis, to discuss plans for organizing a Church of the Nazarene in Trinity Heights.
After 2 weeks of tent meetings, on May 21, 1939, 21 people responded to Gods call & became the charter members of Trinity Church of the Nazarene

Under the leadership of L. Eugene Plemmons, the church outgrew its original building and moved to Polk Street in 1958.

In 1967 a new sanctuary was added to the Polk Street location to meet the needs of the growing congregation.

Under the leadership of Robert Williams, the church outgrew the Polk Street location & decided to relocate to the Dallas suburb of Duncanville in 1978.
Present locationDedicated in 1981.
