What is Hijamah ?

Cupping is an ancient method of

treatment in which a cup / jar is attached to

the skin surface to cause local congestion

through the negative pressure. It has been

practiced in the treatment and cure of

broad range of conditions by the Chinese

and Arab physicians and therapists for

thousands of years. Interestingly, being an

authentic tradition of the Prophet

Muhammad (PBUH) it has become much

popular in the Islamic world.

Why Hijamah has become so important?

Findings of different experts suggested that

cupping is effective to maintain and

promote well-being as well as a measure

for treating problems like pain and

inflammations, musculoskeletal disorders,

visceral dysfunctions, gynaecological,

neurological and psychosomatic ailments,

chronic headaches, varicose veins,

lymphatic blockages, deep tissue

problems, blockages of life force and

energy channels' etc.

Ways to register:

Registration Fee: Rs. 5000/- for Indian and $ 250 for Overseas trainees. Please note that, if thregistered after 30 September, 2014 the registration fees will increase as Rs. 5500/- for
