Tourism Destination • A destination is a mix of interdependent

elements, because in order to produce a satisfying holiday experiences, all element must be present (Mill, 1992)

• It is consisted of– Attraction and activities: everything that attract

interests of tourists – Facilities and services: everything that can fulfil the

need of tourists– Infrastructure and Superstructure: all supporting

aspects of tourism– Hospitality: things that related to service delivery

Tourist Attraction• Attraction has to offer in terms of ‘things to see

and do’• It is the focus of tourist and management attention

which can be a ‘flagship’ (pull in visitors, meed needs of local residents and develop stronger tourism activities within the destination)

• Planning a destination, then, become a crucial part of managing a tourism destination.

• What tourist visit at destination as well as being something they may visit en route to destination should be carefully identified as the potential assets of a destination.

• Attractions are the lifeblood of a destination because they are part of the appeal, ambiance and overall experience that visitors seek to consume in destination.
