Introducing the DART Project Management Core Team
What is the Project Management Core Team?• Responsible for
▫Project planning▫Day to day tasks, details, and oversight▫Resource balancing▫Keeping project on track and within budget
• Oversees Design, Technical, Test, & Training teams
• Reports to the Project Directors

Project Role:• I'm representing the different groups in TIO, mostly the
Windows Enterprise SysAdmins and the SQL Database Admin team.
What do you think will be your biggest challenge on the DART project?
• Traveling back and forth between the Admin Services Building and Varsity Drive!
What do you do when you’re not working on DART?
• I spend time with my husband and two sons, aged 7 and 8. I like to garden, scrapbook and do triathlons in the summer.
Do you have a favorite brand of athletic shoe?• I love my Pearl Izumi running shoes.

Project Role: • In general, I am serving as the Development Community
representative “implanted” into the overall DART Project Team…serving as a member of both the core project management team and core design team, co-leading the data conversion team, and leading the online services design team.
What do you think will be your biggest challenge on the DART project?
• Juggling multiple project priorities with competing deadlines.
What do you do when you’re not working on DART?• I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children,
gardening, horseback riding whenever I get the chance, and just relaxing on my back deck listening to the frogs and crickets (and sometimes coyotes) sing.

Project Role: • I’m the administrator of the project which includes
managing the Planview schedule and resource allocations. I also handle the issue and risk management process.
What do you think will be your biggest challenge on the DART project?
• Defining and tracking the project milestones; Keeping the project on schedule and ensuring the required resources are assigned to the correct activities in the schedule.
What do you do when you’re not working on DART?• Performing volunteer work at my church and son’s high
school, tending to my rose bushes, walking my dog and taking naps.

• Figuring out how to capitalize on what the vendor provides for reporting and deliver a robust data warehouse environment for data mining and analytics.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge on the DART project?
• Providing a good balance in project communications. There's a fine line between information absence and overload.
What do you do when you’re not working on DART?
• I enjoy spending time with my husband and three year old son. I also live, breathe, and consume salsa (music and dance, and also the food).

• allocating resources between various technical tasks to deliver them on-time

• dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited information is available
