Digital Video System Video Camera with Visor Mount UP TO 8 START EVENTS The Stalker Vision Digital can be programmed to begin recording at up to 8 user-definable trigger events. Manual startup, lights/siren activation, shotgun removal, microphone use, radar with speed, optional accident sensor switch, and many other events can be triggers to start recording. Plus, up to 60 min- utes before and after an event can be set for capture. UP TO 100 HOURS Once engaged, the Stalker Vision Digital can record up to 100 hours of MPEG1 format NTSC or PAL video and audio on its shock and vibration isolated hard disk drive. As it records, it embeds time, date, and other optional data into the evidence file, making after-the-fact editing all but impossible. In addition, separate administration log files are created that allow stand-alone validation of the evidence file. MANY DATA TRANSFER OPTIONS Evidence data is transferred to a central collection and archive point in a variety of ways. That data can be copied over a standard Ethernet-style LAN network connection, or through USB or IEEE 1394 (FireWire) format connections. A removable hard drive is available. Moreover, data can also be transferred on Compact Flash (CF) memory, recordable DVD, or 802.11G wireless hotspots. INCLUDING WIRELESS UPLOAD Using conventional wireless network infrastructure, the Stalker Vision Digital can be configured to seamlessly upload encrypted video/audio files without officer/operator intervention. A full audit trail tracking user access is kept via login ID and password for each system user. ANNOTATIONS EASY AND SECURE Once the video/audio evidence is uploaded, annotations (i.e. signatures, digital watermarks, notes, and comments) can be associated with video files. Multiple annotations can be added to each file. When an annotation is added, the time stamp of the pause point is recorded with the annotation. Video files can be searched by annotation. These and other safeguards en- sure that once the evidence data is captured, it cannot be modified, erased, or altered. On Screen Display Totally contained and easily installed in center console. Tamper resistant data storage console secures video and audio evidence. Standard USB and CF reader allow manual downloading. The Stalker Vision Digital can be transformed into a fully functional workstation. Integrated Stalker Radar control and display. Graphic display of speeds captured during a user-defined time period. Microsoft Windows TM formatted displays are user friendly and make evidence capture a snap. The Stalker Vision Digital can be configured in standalone or laptop mode. In stand alone mode it is easily mounted in the patrol vehicle’s center console. It can also be configured in laptop mode and is capable of serving as a fully functional computer workstation with the addition of a display, keyboard, and software upgrade. The complete workstation offers comprehensive law enforcement system capabilities. Data log as displayed by the administrator viewer. Easy-to-use main camera menu. In-car playback viewer to review recorded events. Officer is in control At the Main Camera Menu, the Stalker Vision automatically records video segments and makes log entries when trigger events occur. The officer can manually start recording, adjust the zoom level, and switch between day and night modes, as well as play back recent video clips while in the vehicle. Stalker Radar control The Stalker Vision Digital touch-screen can control a Stalker DSR Radar. The Stalker Vision interfaces with the radar’s counting unit and takes the place of the display unit. Speed information is recorded along with the video and audio data. Configured in this way, the need of a remote control is greatly reduced. Separate log file The Stalker Vision Digital keeps a comprehensive log file of vital supporting data that is displayed by the Administrator Playback Viewer. The log file includes: vehicle ID, time and date of each start/stop event, brakes, lights, microphone use during recording, operation of camera, and other automated operations initiated by the system. The administrator also exports the proprietary file format into a format that can be viewed by any standard media player. Greatest flexibility The Stalker Vision Digital offers the greatest flexibility in system configuration and data transfer formats and – off the shelf – can meet any individual department’s needs without customization costs or headaches.
