Disability or programme funded specifically for People with Disability
In which case all learners recruited must be People with Disability
c Learners recruited may not be in any other skills development
programmeproject funded by a public institution
d Learners recruited may not be younger than sixteen (16)
e A minimum of R1 50000 per month must be paid as stipends to

i The duration of Internships shall be as per the requirements of the
feeder institution but may not exceed twelve (12) months
j The duration of Candidacy Programmes shall be as per the
requirements of the professional registering body but may not exceed
thirty-six (36) months
k Learnerships are strictly for unemployed learners
I Apprenticeships are for both employed and unemployed learners
m Except with the concurrence of theCETA Short Skills Programmes are
strictly for fmployed learners
n No pre-assessment leading to the non-continuation of a learner in the
relevant learning pathway shall be paid for by the CETA
o All allocatlons for Apprenticeships and Candidacy Programmes are for
the first year only and subject to further funding at the sole discretion
of the CETA which dlscretlon shall be guided by the performance of
the Individuals funded
