FROM SEATAC AIRPORT:Option 1: Depart airport, taking exit to I-5 and I-405. Follow signs to I-405 Northbound toward Renton and Bellevue. Take Exit 2, Hwy. 167 South toward Kent/Auburn. Travel south on Hwy. 167 for 20.2 miles to 161 South/512 West. Follow Hwy. 512 West to Puyallup and Olympia, traveling 2.3 miles. Take the second exit, Meridian Street South. Turn right at the light at the end of the exit. ATTENTION – SHOW GROUND RULES• Gray water cannot be dumped or dripped on the ground. The appropriate sewer hookup or dump

station should be used for depositing all gray (and black) water. Security will enforce the “no dumping” rule. There is a $500.00 fine for all/any infractions of this policy.

• An EMT will be on show grounds each day• THE GROUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SET-UP OF GROOMING EQUIPMENT FROM 11:00AM until

7:00 PM on Friday, July 6.• CONTROL OF THE GROOMING AND CRATING AREAS WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE

GROUNDS CHAIRMAN. No roping off or saving of grooming areas. Show Committee reserves the right to rearrange crates etc., in the non-reserved grooming area in order to make more room. Grooming equipment left in day grooming area after Best in Show will be confiscated.

• Grooming and Crating area aisles must remain open at all times.• No Grooming or exercise pens, Cocker pens, Toy pens or canopies are allowed in the Show Buildings.

Crates are only allowed in the show building during showing of your breed and must be removed immediately after. Violators will be fined $25.00 per occurrence.

• Grounds will be open at 6:00 AM Sat. through Mon., and close two (2) hours after Best in Show each day. All buildings must be vacated two hours after Best in Show on Monday. Reserved Overnight Parking available until 10:00AM on Tuesday.

• There will be no parking on the Fairgrounds. Violators will be towed at the owners’ risk and expense.• Loss or Damage - The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and

exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor’s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor/Parent. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the shows OR THE EXHIBITOR/PARENT WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SHOW PREMISES.

• The only fresh water available on the grounds will be in the restrooms. Exhibitors are responsible for the water required for the safety and comfort of their dogs. No bathing of dogs on the show grounds.

• Exhibitors and Handlers will be held responsible for clean conditions in and around their grooming area, parking area and hotel room.

• Exhibitors will be responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. X-pens will be provided outside. Exhibitors and handlers must pick up fecal matter deposited by their dogs on the grounds, streets, sidewalks and parking lots.

• Speed limit within the Fairgrounds is 5MPH. Anyone exceeding this speed limit will be subject to an Event Show Hearing, and/or escorted off the grounds immediately.

• If it is necessary to rescue a dog from a parked vehicle on the show grounds or in the parking areas, the club will not be responsible or liable for any damage to the vehicle involved. Animals left in vehicles will be monitored by County Control Officers and Club Members. If animals are in distress due to heat or any other circumstances, the vehicle will be forcibly entered, the animal recovered and the owner cited.

• ALL ELECTRICAL DEVICES WHICH CREATE MULTIPLE OUTLETS MUST BE UL APPROVED AND INCORPORATE A SEPARATE CIRCUIT BREAKER WITHIN THE DEVICE. All electrical cords on floor must be taped.

• No Smoking will be allowed or tolerated in any building on the Show Site. Offenders of the rule shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $50.00, and in the event of continued abuse, shall be asked to leave the show premises.

• TROPHIES – Trophies and prizes will be awarded in the judging rings to the person exhibiting the dog, who will be considered to be the owner or agent of the owner. All claims for trophies and other prizes must be made in the judging ring before the completion of the judging of the breed, and the Show Chairmen advised at once in the event of any discrepancy. No Award will be mailed. The Clubs reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.THESE RULES WILL BE ENFORCED BY THE SHOW COMMITTEE. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH

THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN CHARGES BEING BROUGHT BEFORE THE SHOW COMMITTEE.

• Minimum 14 gauge extension cords shall be used to extend electrical service.• Extension cords shall be plugged directly into an electrical outlet and shall, except for

approved multi-plug extension cords, serve only one portable appliance.• The ampacity of the extension cords shall not be less than the rated capacity of the portable

appliance supplied by the cord.• Any cord across an aisle, MUST be taped down with duct tape.• NO EXERCISE PENS allowed in any building other than the Bubble (Centennial Bldg) and

those MUST have underlayment and be kept clean at all times.• Spaces are “approximately” 10x10 at $75.00 for Friday through Monday. There is no

reduction in fee for fewer days.• There will be a limited amount of “Day of Show” grooming space with power. All equipment

PEE WEE CLASS SPECIAL ATTRACTION SUNDAY, JULY 8 – NO ENTRY FEE – ENTRY LIMIT: 15– JUDGE: LINDA RIEDEL

The Pee Wee Special Attraction is a pre-Junior Showmanship class. The Pee Wee class is geared toward children 5–9 years of age. Safety is a primary concern.

Each Pee Wee unit consists of the child, his/her parent/guardian/responsible adult, and the dog. Only one Pee Wee unit is in the ring at a time. This is not a competitive class, but rather a fun, learning experience for the child and the adult. • A dog must be at least four months of age to enter the Pee Wee class. • Bitches in season will not be allowed to participate. If pre-entered, a dog may be substituted that meets the eligibility requirements as specified by the club. • All dogs entered must have the proper lead and collar. • A responsible adult must be present with the child both inside and outside the ring. The adult is to maintain control of the dog outside of the ring. The safety of both the dogs and Juniors inside and outside the ring is a primary concern. Outside of the ring, the dog is to be controlled by the adult accompanying the child. An additional lead, provided by the Club, will be at the Judge’s table. At the Judge’s discretion based upon the size of the child and the dog, for safety purposes the adult may be asked to attach a second lead to the dog so both child and adult will walk the dog together. REGISTRATION WILL BE TAKEN AT THE CLUB TABLE SUNDAY MORNING, STARTING AT 9:00AM. EACH ENTRANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT AN ENTRY FORM. IN ADDITION TO AN ENTRY, A RELEASE MUST BE SIGNED BY THE CHILD’S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. JUDGING WILL BE HELD DURING THE LUNCH BREAK. NO ENTRY FEE. ALL PEE-WEE PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A RAINBOW ROSETTE. PeeWee Entries are open to All Breeds, including Miscellaneous and FSS Breeds, and All-American Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners Program.

TRANSFER OF ENTRIESNOTE: TRANSFER OF ENTRIES AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS FOR PUBLISHED JUDGE CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AFTER 5:00PM ON THURDAY, JULY 5. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE.CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show.JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another, provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show.OBEDIENCE OR RALLY: A transfer (i.e., from an obedience class to an obedience class; or a rally class to a rally class) may be requested if, according to the owner’s records the handler and dog are eligible provided the club offers transfers. Transfers from an “A” to “B” class at the same level are allowed provided the host club allows transfers. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the superintendent or trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Clubs may choose to accept transfers prior to the day of the trial and this should be clearly stated in the premium list. Transfers may be approved provided the class and judge are available, and the class has not reached its limit.

OBEDIENCE AND RALLY EXHIBITORS, PLEASE NOTEIn an effort to accommodate more exhibitors and also allow for nightly floor cleaning in the Pavilion,

the following rules for the placement of crates are implemented:1) There will be no crating allowed between the doors (under the windows) leading to the stairs.2) If crates are left in the Pavilion overnight, all cloth and metal crates that can fold, must be folded

and placed against the wall (along with any other personal gear) before the exhibitor leaves the building for the day. Hard crates must also be placed against the wall. The main area of the floor must be clear so that it can be swept nightly.

3) During the hours of the Trials, crates in use will be arranged in rows, with aisles kept clear so that people and dogs can easily move through the area. This will meet a requirement issued by the Fire Marshall. The Obedience Chairs will gladly assist in the placement of crates.
