Special Olympics 2018/2019 Season – Weekly Workouts
Please complete the following exercises to the best of your ability at least twice weekly, with at least one rest day in-between each workout. For example, if your practice is on Tuesdays, exercises could be done on Thursday and Saturday. These exercises are in addition to your scheduled practice(s), and are designed to help you build endurance, strength, and flexibility. If you are having difficulty with any of
the exercises, please contact Elizabeth or your Special Olympics Coach for modifications.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Alabama - Flame of Hope will travel across Alabama on Thursday, May 16th and Friday, May
17th, on the way to Troy University for the 2019 opening ceremonies of the Alabama Special Olympics Summer Games.
We know it says "Law Enforcement" Torch Run, but ANYONE CAN RUN!!! Family, friends, co-workers, kids, dogs, etc. Everyone is welcome!! Our legs
are slow paced group runs aimed at bringing awareness to Special Olympics and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Lunch on Thursday and Friday, and dinner Friday night is provided free of charge to all participants. If you are not from the Birmingham area, and are participating in Thursday and Friday run legs, a hotel room will be provided free of charge for you in Pelham on Thursday night. If you are participating
in the opening ceremony at Troy University Friday night, a room will be pro-vided to you free of charge. On Thursday, May 16, North and Central AL will be running separate legs and meeting in Gardendale to complete the Gar-
dendale and Birmingham leg all together. If you would like to join us on any, or all, of the runs, the itineraries are listed on the next page.

the play and tactile tours for patrons to feel as part of the production and meet the cast (all of these for April 13th). There will be light warning signs to notify guests
when sudden sounds or lights shift (for April 16th). We are working with all of the designers on the production to ensure that accessibility is part of the design from
