I love the color palette here. A definite atmosphere is

conveyed – chilly, windy, earth that has stopped living at the

start of the fall season, townsfolk must protect

themselves while outdoors…

An illustrator’s whimisical renderings of “Katrina” and “Brom Bones”. This style evokes comedy,

physicality, and a cartoon-like energy, all necessary to portray the humor in this ghost story. I can just hear these characters’ voices from the way they

are drawn.

Some cool-looking, creepy folks. Perhaps Sleepy Hollow’s townspeople. The people are nicely grayed and weathered from their town’s forboding atmosphere. Note the period clothing.

bold color scheme which mirrors the benefits of strong physical choices in our reading. How will you color your performance? How will you help evoke

a similar atmosphere using your voices and

bodies?

This image embodies the atmosphere in the town. What’s behind you? Are you safe? What happens

when the sun goes down? Love the use of dark and

light. Great facial expression.

This is a really cool, abstract illustration (artist unknown). To me, this image evokes the horror in this ghost story. The image, too, has a

forceful energy, sound, and physicality
