GATHERING AT THE LORD’S TABLE_________________
God’s Invitation and Promises
Great Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.
Distribution of the Bread and Cup
(Gluten-free bread is individually wrapped) Partake of the bread when passed – Hold the cup until all are served
*Prayer after Communion
As we rise from this table, O God, may we grow to the
stature of Jesus Christ our Lord. Help us to love you above all
else and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves,
demonstrating your love, in word and deed, toward all your
children. Keep us faithful in your service until Christ comes in
final victory and we shall feast with all your saints in the joy of
your eternal realm. Amen.

Labor Day greetings to you and yours! God is among the human race, among
this congregation, and in the midst of each of our lives. Try as we might, we
can’t shake loose from this God. Every corner we round there’s God again,
loving us. No matter what we think, say, do, or become, somehow God meets
us and calls us home to him again. Our love for God and for one another is
sporadic and has limitations. But God’s main character trait is
FAITHFULNESS. And God’s love never ends. -Pastor Karl
