The "Well Rounded" academic

I gave this presentation on 20th Jan at Hull University, as part of my interview. I was asked to talk about the integration of administration, teaching, scholarship and research - pretty standard workload stuff in a Uni, so I expanded the focus to the "well rounded" academic, arguing that warmth, loyalty, a growth orientation and other aspects of social intelligence were as relevant to success in this role as the sound integration of scholarship, research and administrative tasks, note the builds and overlays I designed in don't work on this site. Also at the time of writing I don't know if I got the job yet...
