However, we can use this slower time to use on our business-planning and budgeting for the upcoming seasons, making necessary policy and procedure changes, training employees, marketing, attending a few chamber functions and maybe a vacation for a much-needed time away from the business. We all need it to come back refreshed with new energy and ideas. The chamber realizes the fluctuations in the seasons and in an effort to help the ebbs and flows, the chamber is willing to work with members on billing solutions to those who may suffer the summer cash doldrums, such as changing the fre- quency of billing to semi-annually or changing the anniversary date to those times when cash is flowing better. If you are interested, call Ken at the chamber. Remember the chamber is here for you year ‘round to help with your marketing and networking needs. There are many ways the chamber can help you gain visibility in the community with other business owners and customers, don’t hesitate to call them. The staff will work with you on marketing ideas you may have. I have used their assistance in the past and it was a great addition to my promotional needs! If you ever have any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to contact me, from one business owner to another… we can talk over coffee anytime! Have a great summer… and take that vacation while you can! Diann
