Democratic Republic of Congo, in the

Heart of the African Continent, is

blessed with both Precious Minerals

and an Energetic, Friendly Population.

Currently we are producing over 3,600 MT

per year of absolute cobalt whereas world

demand for cobalt is 60,000 MT per year.

We plan to boost up our volume to 5,000

MT per year.

Somika is also building up facility for

production of copper blister with annual

capacity of 10,000MT. Production is

expected to commence in February, 2012.

Total investment is around $10million.

We are presently producing over 12,500

MT per year of copper whereas world

demand is around 13 million MT. With our

current exploration work, we are sure to

find reserve of more than 1 million MT of

absolute copper which will allow us to put

up a copper plant for 100,000 MT per year

by 2014.

We also believe we will by then have found

reserve of approximately 2 million MT of

absolute copper with our exploration

permits.

Tin concentrates is under MMR profile and

we produced 2,450MT of metal units in the

form of tin ore. (MTD October 2011)

Tin smelting plant is under construction with

likely investment of approximately $ 6million;

annual capacity being 4,000MT.

During the current year we have commenced

exploration work and some production

through up gradation methods. We plan to

achieve production of 15,000 MT by 2012.

Page 14: The somika group

Tantalum concentrates – we produced 134MT

of ore in current year till October 2011.

With our exploration permits, we are

progressing well on these products and will

meet production targets by next year.

Our Group has very interesting Gold

Permits and exploration work will

commence soon and we expect

to begin production in our mines from

year 2012.
