As one of Scotland’s leading privately

owned construction companies, CCG is

currently best known for our participation

in the delivery of the multi award-winning

Commonwealth Games Athletes’ Village in

Glasgow’s East end.

We are industry leaders in modern methods of construction

and our motto is ‘building futures’ so if there is one thing we

enjoy, it’s a challenge.

The redevelopment of the original Niddrie Mill Primary

School buildings offered us that opportunity. And the design

brief was certainly challenging; not only were we to ensure

the historical façade of the old schoolhouse was retained

but we had to create a community of modern, energy

efficient homes that are sympathetic to the surroundings but

also reflect the area’s dynamic future.

As part of a larger urban renewal programme, this once

bustling complex will be transformed into a stylish range

of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, duplexes and

terraced homes that offer ample living space and truly

outstanding value.

The Schoolhouse will be a unique landmark development

and perfect location. With excellent rail and bus links on

the doorstep, easy access to the A1 motorway, Edinburgh

City Centre, Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre, Musselburgh,

Portobello and the countryside of East Lothian are within

easy commuting distance.

Set next to leafy parkland and historical

Niddrie Burn, The Schoolhouse comprises a

unique range of one, two and three bedroom

apartments, duplexes and terraced houses.

The original school building includes 17, one and two bedroom

stylish apartments and duplexes - the perfect option for

discerning singles and couples.

Our two and three bedroom, terraced properties also include

private gardens and driveways.

Traffic calming features ensure a safe and secluded environment

for young families. All properties feature beautiful, fully fitted

kitchens and bathrooms, and offer the ultimate in design to

maximize both light and space.

With the Government backed Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme,

living in a home you own rather than renting suddenly becomes

attractively affordable.

Exclusive, eye-catching, stylish, exceptional value – just imagine

using these words to describe your very own home.

With Help to Buy (Scotland), you can

buy a new home with just 5% deposit -

whether you’re a first time buyer or you’re

moving on from your existing home.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM HELP TO BUY (SCOTLAND)?

Under the terms of Help To Buy (Scotland) interest free equity loan

the Scottish Government will help buyers to purchase the property

and will take an equity stake of between 10% and 20% of the value

of the property.

If you’re a first time buyer we know how difficult it is to raise a large

deposit to purchase your first home. With Help to Buy (Scotland)

you’ll need to save just 5% deposit to get a mortgage, so you could

purchase your first home sooner than you thought.

If you’re an existing homeowner, you can use Help to Buy (Scotland)

to trade up to a bigger property - even if you have limited equity in your

current home, because you only need 5% deposit to move.

HOW DOES HELP TO BUY (SCOTLAND) WORK?

There are two ways to buy a new home

with a 5% deposit using the Help to Buy

(Scotland) scheme.

The Help to Buy (Scotland)

interest free equity loan -

exclusively available on new

build properties. The equity

loan could reduce your

mortgage repayments

by 20%, making this an

affordable option.

The Help to Buy (Scotland)

mortgage guarantee, which

means that you could get a

95% mortgage on the home

of your choice.
