Definition

Public-private-partnership or PPP is a mode of

implementing government Programmes/schemes

in partnership with the private sector.

The term private in PPP encompasses all non

government agencies such as

Corporate sector eg. Venkys

Voluntary organizations eg. NGOs

Self-help groups eg. PRADAN .

Partnership firms eg. Tata kisan

Individuals and community based

organizations.

TANUVAS to help overcome fodder shortage, generate income

TANUVAS are being signed with farmers who desire to grow fodder grasses like

Bajra Napier (Co-4), Guinea grass,(Anjan grass), Fodder sorghum (CoFS-27),

Multi cut fodder Sorghum (CoFS-29), African tall maize, Legumes (Desmanthus,

Stylo, Cowpea) and tree fodder varieties (Sesbania, Subabul, Glyricidia).
